You will be met by our representative at the Bandaranayake International Airport, Arrival Lobby and after all formalities (Baggage Check / Currency Exchange if the clients prefer to have local Currency while on Tour) the clients will be transferred to Negombo.

Negombo is a perfect choice to spend a few days in the company of the sun and sand. The diverse array of restaurants, pubs and accommodation choices this metropolis offer is a perfect reflection of this beach-town’s exultant vibe.

It is also a historically interesting location owing to the strains of Dutch-influenced architecture that remain intact in the town’s landscape, not to mention the ancient Dutch Fort as well as several churches constructed during the Dutch Colonial era that are thronged by pilgrims daily.

Among other amazing sightseeing options are the breathtaking sunsets, the bustling fish market as well as hand-made catamarans used by local fishermen that set sail in the evenings. Boat-rides are also available to explore the Dutch canals, mangrove forests or the nearby marshlands of Muthurajawela.

Day 2

Breakfast at the hotel and let’s procced to Ella.

Ella, which literally translates into ‘waterfall’ is a name fit for this little town located in a hilly nook, owing to its stunning vistas richly adorned with cascades that trickle down its rugged terrains.

Located some 225km away from Colombo, Ella offers some of the most scenic sights available in Sri Lanka. It is perfect for those who enjoy nature and outdoors fun as it offers ample opportunities for trekking expeditions.

The unparalleled beauty of the vistas in Ella includes the Ella gap where one can enjoy the sights of the grand stone bridge that stands tall, with nine archways. The walk leading to the Ella gap falls through a railway and is definitely a factor that would add to the excitement of the little trek. The spectacular bird’s-eye views available at the crests of the mini Adam’s peak and Bambaragala are visits that should not be missed!

Day 3

After breakfast at the hotel, you may participate on a few of the Optional Excursions which will be discussed by our representative.

The Ravana Falls  is a popular sightseeing attraction in Sri Lanka. It currently ranks as one of the widest falls in the country. This waterfall measures approximately 25 m (82 ft) in height and cascades from an oval-shaped concave rock outcrop. During the local wet season, the waterfall turns into what is said to resemble an areca flower with withering petals. But this is not the case in the dry season, where the flow of water reduces dramatically. The falls form part of the Ravana Ella Wildlife Sanctuary, and is located 6 km (3.7 mi) away from the local railway station at Ella.

Demodara Nine Arch BridgeThis viaduct was built at Gotuwala between the two railway stations – Ella and Demodara during the British Colonial period is the largest in Sri Lanka. Located almost 3100 feet above the sea level, this 99.6ft high bridge.  is called “Ahas namaye palama” (Nine skies bridge) in Sinhala. When one stands underneath it and looks up there is a beautiful sight of ‘nine skies’ through the nine arches, hence the Sinhala name. This bridge is also called ‘The Bridge in the sky’ due to the sheer height.

This massive bridge is built entirely of solid rocks, bricks and cement without using a single piece of steel. The bridge was finally commissioned in 1921.
