TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions override/supersede all the previous booking conditions of The Travel Experts Ltd. 

COST

A minimum deposit of £ 50 – £ 100 (May vary Please check) is required at the time of reservation and is non-refundable. DEPOSIT ONLY GUARANTEES THE RESERVATION NOT THE FARE. Instant issuance of ticket with Full payment guarantees both price and reservation.

 APPLICABLE TO ALL BOOKINGS

Booking Your Travel Arrangements
By making a booking, the first named person/Lead passenger on the booking or the person making the booking agrees on behalf of all persons detailed on the booking that he/she:

(a)Has read these Booking Conditions and agrees to be bound by them; 

(b) consents to our use of personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and is authorised on behalf of all persons named on the booking to disclose their personal details to us, including where applicable, special categories of data (such as information on health conditions or disabilities and dietary requirements) 

(c) is over 18 years of age at the time of booking and where placing an order for services with age restrictions declares that he/she and all members of the party are of the appropriate age to purchase those services; and 

(d)Accepts financial responsibility for payment of the booking on behalf of all persons detailed on the booking. 

All services offered are subject to availability. Fares are not guaranteed until they are ticketed. 

When you make your booking you must pay the relevant deposit as specified at the time of booking. No contract will come into existence until we accept your booking and we receive your deposit or full payment in cleared funds. Please ensure that the names given are the same as in the relevant passport. 

PAYMENTS

Full payment for all booking is due at least eight weeks before departure or as shown on your invoice/receipt, whichever comes first. Failure to meet the payment deadline may result in the cancellation of the booking and would make you liable to further cancellation charges as set out in paragraph 3.

REFUNDS

As stated above, certain bookings are refundable (non tour flights) and some are totally non-refundable (all group tours are non-refundable). The refund process takes approximately 6 – 26 weeks. Refund amount if applicable will be made (after the deduction of cancellation, Administration and service charges) will be reimbursed into the relevant Bank account. In certain booking refund will be made in form of credit vouchers, which can be redeemed towards any future booking. For further information please contact Travel Experts.

IF YOU CANCEL YOUR BOOKING

Most of the tickets once issued or made definite are non-refundable, non-transferable. Cancellation charges vary from airline to airline. Please confirm at the time of booking. Passengers are strongly advised to take out a travel insurance policy. After your booking has been confirmed, but before the ticket has been issued, you may wish to cancel your booking. To do this, you (Lead passenger/organisation) must advise The Travel Experts Ltd. in writing. The cancellation will be effective from the date ‘notice’ of cancellation is received. Group bookings/Tours are strictly Non refundable & Non changeable. Bookings are subject to administration and service fee in addition to the cancellation charges.

Third party Suppliers

Many of the services which make up your holiday are provided by independent suppliers. Those suppliers provide these services in accordance with their own terms and conditions which will form part of your contract with us or the applicable supplier. Some of these terms and conditions may limit or exclude the supplier’s refund liability. If refund is given by the supplier applicable bank charges and rate of exchange will apply.

AMENDMENTS TO BOOKINGS

Alterations and amendments to booking are treated as cancellation and re-booking. Thus the above cancellation rules apply and would be effective from the date that notice of such amendments is received by The Travel Experts Ltd. in writing. In the case of a minor alteration of flight timings by the airline affecting actual departure time by less than 12 hours, we would not deem the holidays to be affected substantially. Such alteration, therefore, would not qualify for a refund. If the alteration of flight timings affecting the actual departure time is more than 12 hours, then you have a choice of a) accepting the changed arrangements as notified. b) purchasing another flight, or c) cancelling your flight. The Travel Experts Ltd. shall not be held liable for any loss or vexation consequent on such cancellation or amendments.

ANY ALTERATION TO THE PROGRAMS/CANCELLATION FOR GROUPS BY THE TRAVEL EXPERTS LTD.

In certain circumstances, when a minimum number is not achieved Travel Experts will refund your full deposits. Should this happen, we will notify you or the person acting on your behalf as soon as possible.

Tours and flights once booked are strictly non refundable.

MINIMUM GROUP SIZE 15: If by the release date provided the minimum number of travellers has not been met, the departure will be cancelled and full amount refunded.

MEDICAL & TRAVEL INSURANCE 

The Travel Experts Ltd. will not be Liable for any Medical Emergencies. It is mandatory for all the Travellers / Group members to have an adequate Travel and Medical Insurance.  The insurance cover must include for any Emergencies / Medical conditions / Hospitalisation / repatriation including Air Ambulance. Travel insurance should also cover Missed departures delays, Baggage loss or delay to your personal effects and personal accident and include Cancellation due to any unforeseen conditions/Force Majeure. This is duty of the Traveller to ensure that they carry any prescribed Medication for any ongoing Medical condition for the entire stay. 

Any major medical condition should be disclosed to The Travel Experts prior to booking any tours.  Please note majority of the tours require walking and it is the client’s responsibility to advise Travel Experts if there are any walking difficulties or any disability requirements that The Travel Experts should be aware of in writing. 

FORCE MAJEURE :

Except where otherwise expressly stated in these Booking Conditions we will not be liable or pay you compensation if our contractual obligations to you are affected by “Force Majeure”. For the purposes of these Booking Conditions, Force Majeure means any event beyond our or our supplier’s control, the consequences of which could not have been avoided even if all reasonable measures had been taken. Examples include warfare and acts of terrorism (and threat thereof), civil strife, significant risks to human health such as the outbreak of serious disease/pandemic at the travel destination or natural disasters such as floods, earthquakes or weather conditions which make it impossible to travel safely to the travel destination or remain at the travel destination, the act of any government or other national or local authority including port or river authorities, industrial dispute, labour strikes, lock closure, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, chemical or biological disaster, unavoidable technical problems with transport and all similar events outside our or the supplier(s) concerned control.

NEXT OF KIN :

Complete details for next of Kin are also required at time of booking in case of any emergency.

 ITINERARIES:

It is our intention to adhere to the itineraries described in our programs.

Please note Travel Experts can make alterations to itineraries due to logistic reasons, weather conditions, time restrictions or other circumstances beyond our control.

 GROUP/TOUR CANCELLATION POLICY:

 Flights (on allocation) are non refundable/non changeable

Tour Cancellation (Subject to Admin fee):

85 days or more prior to departure = Loss of initial Deposit

65 and 84 days prior to departure = 50% loss on the package price

 65 days prior to  departure = 100% Loss on the package price

LIABILITY

The Travel Experts Ltd. undertaken to use its best endeavors in arranging of the client’s holidays to ensure that the standard of service meets the requirements of a professional travel agent. However, The Travel Experts Ltd. cannot be held liable or responsible for the acts or omissions of any body or person over whom The Travel Experts Ltd. has no direct control. No person is authorised to make representation concerning clients holidays unless agreed and sanctioned by The Travel Experts Ltd. in writing. We cannot be held responsible for any documents lost in post.

INSURANCE INDEMNITY

Travel Experts strongly advise you to take out your own travel/medical insurance which provides comparable cover as stated above. The Travel Experts Ltd. will not or be responsible for any liabilities which may arise due to inadequate insurance cover.

PRICES AND PRICE GUARANTEE

Our programme is keenly priced to offer maximum value for money. All UK airport taxes, except where stated, security charges and fuel surcharges are included in the fares. We reserve the right to impose a supplement to the air ticket price due to changes in the value of £ sterling, the cost of aircraft fuel and changes in hotel and airport taxes etc.

PASSPORT, VISAS AND HEALTH

It is client’s own responsibility to ensure the validity and accuracy of passports, visas and necessary health documents. We can accept no responsibility for any loss due to incomplete documentation.

COMPLAINTS

If you have any complaints whilst you are away, you must immediately inform the appropriate hotel or car-hire company, airline concerned so that remedial action can be taken without delay. Should you be unable to resolve the problem on the spot, any complaints must be received in writing by The Travel Experts Ltd. no later than fourteen days following completion of your journey as booked with us regardless of the ticket validity otherwise the complaint will be deemed not to exist.

Any complaints should be put in writing within 14 days of your return to the Travel Experts.

Any complaints or refunds should be dealt with by the principal lead passenger who initially makes the booking and payments. This is also in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulations.

DATA PROTECTION

 We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to third parties. 

 It is an offence to take any personal communication data or telephone numbers from our clients within a group booking without the permission of The Travel Experts.
